In 2022 Sadio Mane saw a successful year of progress, ranging from being crowned Senegal's all-time top goal scorer, to winning the African Cup of Nations and transferring to Bayern Munich. Newbalance are Mane's sponsor and wanted to create an immersive illustration highlighting his successes for their Tiktok.

This project highlighted a big channel insofar we wanted to highlight key moments like trophies and key transfer and Mane himself, but all this had to be achieved without directly referring to specific trophies/brands/emblems as the client didn't own the rights. So the challenge was to figure out how to communicate key moves without directly referring trophies/emblems/brands. This though resulted in cooler abstraction than if direct assets were used.
